What are your opening hours?
Thursday to Saturday: 12pm to 10pm
Sunday: 12pm to 5pm
Monday to Wednesday: Closed
How to book
All bookings of up to 19 people can be made through our website.

How long is my booking?
Bottomless Packages and A La Carte bookings have a duration of 2 hours.
Beer Garden and Winter Garden bookings have a duration of 3 hours.

Cancellation policy for a la carte
For general bookings, you may modify or cancel your booking up until 48 hours before your reservation time through SevenRooms.
For any changes to your reservation within 48 hours of the booking time, kindly contact us at 03 8416 9710 or email thecommons@thebiggroup.com.au.
Please be advised a fee of $25pp will be incurred for groups of 12+ for full cancellations, no shows, or requests to reschedule the booking within 24 hours of the booking start time. Reasons relating to COVID-19 are subject to the same Cancellation Policy.
Cancellation policy for prepaid bookings
For all pre-paid bookings: partial or full cancellations up to 48 hours of your booking start time will receive a refund in the form of an e-gift card. The e-gift card will have an expiry period of 36 months. Any cancellations within 48 hours will not be refundable and cannot be used as credit.
Please contact our Reservations Team at thecommons@thebiggroup.com.au for any changes regarding your booking. We require a request in writing 48 hours prior of your booking start time to issue a refund.
Reasons relating to COVID-19 are subject to the same Refund Policy.
Walk-ins
Walk-ins are welcome at The Commons Collective, however, we are unable to guarantee a table during busy sessions.
We recommend booking ahead of time using our website.
Wet Weather
We know Melbourne weather can be unpredictable – our Garden space is covered by a marquee to provide shelter from any wet weather. Reservations in the Beer Garden may be moved inside, however, this is subject to availability on the day and cannot be guaranteed.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely, we love dogs! They are welcome to join our Garden bookings. We recommend the puppa-cino for our furry friends.
Do you provide highchairs?
We have a limited number of highchairs available. Please aim to inform us of your request for a highchair prior to your reservation.
We are also more than happy for guests to bring their own.
Can I bring in a cake?
You are more than welcome to bring in a cake. We charge a cakeage fee of $3.50 per person if you would like our servers to cut and serve the cake for you. If you are happy to do this yourselves, no fee will be charged. We will provide plates and cutlery at no additional cost.
